Rev. Pamela Osborne - Pastor
Pastor Pam has been serving the First Presbyterian Church of Stanhope since September, 2024, as a shared call with the Andover Presbyterian Church. This is her first call after receiving her Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in Manhattan.
She had previous careers in long-term-care social work and freelance writing - alongside serving as an elder, Sunday School chairperson, and in a host of other roles at her home church in Montclair.
When she's not doing church-related things, Pastor Pam enjoys hiking, trying new recipes, reading mystery novels, playing board games, and rooting for the Mets. She is married to Scott. Their daughter, Emily, teaches second grade near Boston.
Bonnie & Ken Reed - Music Director & Organist
The Reed family, including Georgia and Kevin, joined the church in 1989. Bonnie and Ken have both served the church wearing several hats.
Bonnie served 9 years as an elder, taught Sunday school, and taught Vacation Bible School. She was Director/Head Teacher for the Genesis Bible School (the church sponsored pre-school) for 7 years and taught confirmation class for 13 years.
Ken has also served as an elder, sat on property committee, and did the leg work for the Solar Panel System. He participated in our Men's Group and organized our participation in the church softball team, where he also served as a commissioner.
They both have sung with the church choirs for many years. They both hold a BA in Music Education; Ken also has a Masters Degree. They are both retired band directors. They’ve continued contributing their musical skills by stepping into Music Director and Organist positions. They enjoy their 7 grandchildren, camping, crafting, creating, and fellowship.
As they say, “we love this church.”
