Dear Members and Friends,

While celebrating the USA 250th Birthday, Bonnie introduced Herman’s recitation of the Preamble to the Constitution; all important words for us to remember. Thanks, Bonnie and Herman!

Unaware of what was to come, 3 Chords and the Truth chose the song “Country Road” to perform on Sunday. That song happens to have been adopted as the USA Soccer Team’s anthem – Go USA, and thanks for a wonderful rendition by the band.

Jack Lauterhahn provided a wonderful sermon in Pastor Pam’s absence. Jack was inspired by our country’s July 4th celebration and gave a beautiful bipartisan message combining patriotism with devotion to God. Great job Jack!

Our food pantry is still in need of tuna and spaghetti sauce. Reminder: we have a special collection of food pantry items on Communion days.

Sunday, July 12, 9:00 am – Worship with the anniversary Service of Communion, a brief congregational meeting right after worship to nominate and elect two elders, and coffee hour with a celebration to honor Owen and Gloria Newson!

Sunday, August 23, 9:00 am – Worship including a new banner presented by Carol Barry while Pastor Pam is on vacation.
